Press seam toward pink HST. Make eight HST units Layout eight HST units, four pink 1½” finished squares and four maroon 1½” finished squares following block diagram. Pin and sew units into rows. Press seams in opposite directions for alternating rows. Pin and sew rows together to complete block.
