Block Sewing Instructions

1. Pin and sew one light mauve and one light aqua 1½” finished squares together as shown. Press seam toward the light aqua square. Make two light mauve square units.

1. Pin and sew one dark aqua and one light aqua 1½” finished square together as shown. Press seam toward the dark aqua square. Make two dark aqua squares.

1. Pin and sew one dark aqua 1½” finished half square triangle (HST) and one grey chisel together as shown. Press seam towards the dark aqua triangle. Make four chisel units.

1. Pin and sew one light mauve square unit and one grey chisel unit together into a quarter block as shown. Press seam toward the square unit. Make two mauve square block units.

1. Pin and sew one dark aqua unit and one grey chisel unit together into a quarter block as shown. Press seam toward the square unit. Make two dark aqua square quarter block units.

1. Layout two mauve square quarter block units and two dark aqua square quarter block units as shown.

1. Pin and sew two-quarter blocks together into half blocks. Press seams open. Make two half blocks.

1. Pin and sew half blocks together to complete the block. Press seams open.
